Floqer’s AI agents research sales prospects so teams don’t have to
For anyone entrenched in the world of revenue operations or B2B sales, the daily grind of manual prospecting is a familiar, often exhausting, reality. It is a process defined by hours spent scouring LinkedIn, company websites, job boards, and search engines, all in a desperate bid to identify the right leads and verify their contact details.
Floqer, an autonomous customer knowledge platform, is looking to change that narrative. Making its debut on the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, the company is positioning itself as the definitive solution for sales and marketing teams struggling to keep their customer data accurate and actionable.
From Chrome Extension to Enterprise Powerhouse
Founded in 2024 by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, Floqer’s journey began with a different vision. Mahajan, a former software engineer at Kyndryl, and Islam, a former senior data scientist at Axis Capital, initially launched a Chrome extension dubbed "Super Chat."
"We started with a Chrome extension," Mahajan explained. "Anybody could log in with their ChatGPT account to understand information and take notes."
However, the founders quickly noticed a trend: enterprise clients were repurposing the tool to scrub and organize data within their CRM systems. This realization revealed a massive gap in the market. Conversations with these users highlighted that maintaining clean CRM records was an entirely manual, process-less chore. This insight served as the catalyst for the pivot to the current Floqer platform.
Automating the Prospecting Lifecycle
Floqer functions as an AI-powered database that continuously collects, organizes, and updates customer intelligence. By leveraging a fleet of autonomous AI agents, the platform handles the heavy lifting of lead generation.
Users simply define their ideal customer profile, and the system scans over 100 third-party data sources to build comprehensive lists. When it comes to contact verification, the platform employs a "waterfall" methodology, cycling through data providers until it secures a verified phone number or email address.
"Our autonomous customer knowledge database is only available to a limited audience, mostly due to how much demand our team can actually serve properly," said Mahajan.
The platform’s key capabilities include:
- Continuous Monitoring: The system tracks web activity to detect job changes, promotions, or new funding rounds, ensuring records are always current.
- Account Enrichment: It automatically adds granular detail to target accounts.
- Efficiency Gains: Early adopters have reported slashing their prospecting time by as much as 70%.
Scaling Up and Opening Up
Floqer’s growth trajectory has been impressive. The startup has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking a tenfold increase over the past year. With a team of eight, they currently serve over 1,000 customers, including high-profile names like Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
To support this rapid expansion, the company has secured $2 million in pre-seed funding. Backers include N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, the F7 Fund (associated with Perplexity), and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats.
Looking ahead, Floqer has announced a major strategic shift: it plans to open-source the technology behind its autonomous database. Targeting an early 2027 release—pending rigorous security reviews—the move is designed to address the needs of larger enterprises that prefer to host their own data or build custom integrations on top of the existing infrastructure.
"Our mission is to really enable every team to build their central source of growth," Mahajan noted. By transitioning to an open-source model, Floqer aims to remove the bottlenecks currently limiting its reach, allowing the platform to scale alongside the evolving demands of the global sales community.
