Bring the Fire: Play Games on GeForce NOW With New Firefox Browser Support

NVIDIA is turning up the heat on cloud gaming today by officially expanding GeForce NOW support to the Mozilla Firefox browser. This update marks a significant milestone for the platform, providing gamers with yet another frictionless gateway to high-fidelity PC gaming without the need for dedicated software installations.

Whether you are gaming on a lightweight school laptop or a standard home PC, the barrier to entry has never been lower. By simply utilizing the latest version of Firefox, users can bypass massive game downloads and lengthy update cycles, jumping straight into their favorite titles via the cloud.

Seamless Cloud Integration

The addition of Firefox brings the browser-based experience to a wider audience, joining the existing lineup of supported platforms including Chrome, Edge, and Opera on Windows.

"The cloud handles the heavy lifting, so games are ready to play without taking up valuable storage space on the device."

For GeForce NOW Ultimate members, this browser integration doesn't mean sacrificing quality. The service continues to deliver GeForce RTX-powered performance, supporting resolutions up to 1440p and fluid gameplay at 120 frames per second. To get started, users simply need to update their browser and navigate to play.geforcenow.com.

New Frontlines: Gallipoli Arrives

Alongside the browser expansion, NVIDIA has bolstered its library with 12 new titles. Leading the charge is Gallipoli, the latest tactical entry in the acclaimed WW1 Game Series from BlackMill Games.

This title thrusts players into the intense 25v25 combat of the Gallipoli Peninsula. With a focus on historical authenticity, the game features:

  • 10 distinct historical classes to master.
  • Over 50 authentic weapons and pieces of equipment.
  • Grounded, high-stakes combat where teamwork and positioning are essential for survival.

Expanding the Library

Beyond the launch of Gallipoli, GeForce NOW is adding a diverse array of titles to its streaming service this week. Whether you are looking for new releases or Game Pass additions, the library continues to grow:

  • Stars Reach (Steam, Aug. 18)
  • The Sinking City 2 (Steam, Aug. 18)
  • Gallipoli (Steam, Aug. 20)
  • DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain (Steam)
  • Escape the Backroom (Xbox/Game Pass)
  • Hell Is Us (Xbox/Game Pass)
  • High on Life (Steam)
  • High on Life 2 (Steam/Xbox/Game Pass)
  • Parcel Simulator (Steam)
  • Starvester (Steam)
  • The Thaumaturge (Xbox/Game Pass)
  • Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (Epic Games Store)

Try Before You Commit

For those curious about the cloud experience, NVIDIA offers a GeForce NOW day pass. This allows players to test the premium features directly in their browser. Should you decide to upgrade to a full Performance or Ultimate membership later, the cost of that day pass can be applied toward your first subscription purchase.

As the cloud gaming ecosystem continues to evolve, the ability to play high-performance games on virtually any device via Firefox is a major win for accessibility. What titles are you planning to dive into this weekend? Let us know your thoughts on X or in the comments below.
