While Anthropic has already secured significant infrastructure agreements with industry giants like AWS, Google, Nvidia, and AMD, the company appears to be hitting a ceiling. To meet the surging demand for its AI services, relying solely on external hardware providers is no longer sufficient. Reports from The Information last month suggested that the company has already begun scouting Samsung as a potential manufacturing partner for this custom silicon initiative.
